Restoration project coordinator

What the job involves

• Schedule crews and equipment across several live jobs at once
• Keep each drying job moving against its plan and chase the days when it slips
• Assemble scopes, photographs and moisture logs into something an adjuster can read
• Coordinate the specialist contractors a job needs, including licensed abatement where a survey finds asbestos
• Be the single person the customer can call for an answer

What you need

• Experience coordinating trades, construction or insurance work
• The organisational habits to track a dozen jobs without dropping one
• Clear written English, because most of this role is documentation
• A BC class 5 driver licence for site visits

The hard parts

Read this list before you apply. These parts of the job can be difficult.

• You are the person in the middle. When the crew is late and the adjuster is slow, both phone calls come to you.
• The documentation load is heavy and cannot be skipped when work gets busy.
• Priorities often change during the day. The morning plan may not last.
